Financial Partner
Following a development phase supported by the Institut de la pertinence des actes médicaux (IPAM) from 2024 to 2026, the Rapid Response Unit (RRU) has now entered a new phase focused on the long-term sustainability of its services.
To ensure the continuity of this innovative model of care, the Québec Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) has provided funding to Aux trois sentiers to support the RRU’s operations over the coming year.
Developed in partnership with Santé Québec West-Central Montreal Health – Academic / Jewish General Hospital and the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), the RRU offers a meaningful alternative to hospitalization for people at the end of life who wish to remain at home. Since its launch, more than 100 patients have received specialized care in the comfort of their own environment, while their loved ones have benefited from ongoing support and guidance.
Aux trois sentiers is also pursuing new partnerships to expand access to this innovative care model and help transform end-of-life care across Quebec.
